The still life photographs in this portfolio draw upon the works of the old masters; Caravaggio, Chardin, Zurbaran, Cezanne and the Dutch artists of the 17th and 18th centuries.
They are meditations on the timeless themes of life and death, wealth, mortality, the passing of time and the beauty of the everyday.
My still life photography is also a comment on the history of art itself, by re-interpreting the old styles of the past, bringing the aesthetics of hundreds of years ago into the modern world.
The images on this website are available as archival quality prints in various sizes and on various materials. Please contact me if you are interested.
